One of the key activities of the CzechInvest agency is the development of the startup ecosystem in the Czech Republic. It supports young, progressive companies, for example through the ambitious project Technological Incubation, an integral part of which is also the building of a robust contact network and connecting early-stage founders with established Czech companies. Out of a total of 140 startups, 16 candidates advanced to the final selection. The top 8 then met on September 10, 2025, during a closed demo day showcase with representatives of the state transmission system operator ČEPS.
During the demo day, the startups BETONEXT Production, Recon Wave Agent, Mercury MS, P&O Robotics, Penterep Security, Tempest Labs AI, Qeedio, and RUTiGO were presented, of which BETONEXT Production and Qeedio are already part of the Technological Incubation program.
“Connecting with ČEPS through the Technological Incubation project has opened the door for us to potential cooperation in a new market segment. In addition to the opportunity to present our solution, we also gained valuable insight into the operations of the exclusive Czech transmission system operator, which now allows us to further develop our product in a targeted way,” comments on the benefits of the demo day Jiří Krňávek on behalf of the BETONEXT Production startup.
